IT Strategy & vCIO: A Plan Behind Every IT Decision
Most IT providers keep things running. Very few make sure your technology is actually heading somewhere. Every InfoTech partnership includes a Technical Alignment Manager and a virtual CIO who keep your environment up to standard, build your technology roadmap and budget, and make sure IT decisions support where your business is going.
Things get fixed, but they don’t get better. That’s what it looks like when nobody owns the direction of your IT. Decisions get made one at a time, usually when something breaks. Servers, computers, and licenses come due without warning and blow up the budget. Passwords, vendor contracts, and equipment lists are scattered or only in someone’s head. And you pay for IT every month without a clear view of what got done, what’s next, or whether it’s working.
Your TAM and Your vCIO
Two roles, one goal: technology that’s well run today and planned for tomorrow.
A Dedicated Technical Alignment Manager
Your TAM reviews your environment against our standards every month and fixes what’s out of line. They also visit you onsite every quarter to review systems, talk through concerns, and spot risks early.
A Virtual CIO (vCIO)
Executive-level IT guidance without the executive salary. Your vCIO meets with you for a quarterly business review, owns project priorities, and gives basic risk and compliance guidance.
A Living Roadmap and IT Budget
A roadmap that sets priorities and an annual IT budget that matches it, including planned equipment refreshes, so big expenses are expected, not surprises.
Documentation and Vendor Management
We keep your documentation, network diagrams, and equipment inventory current, and handle your other technology vendors for you.

Common Questions
What’s the difference between a TAM and a vCIO?
Your TAM focuses on the technical side: standards, documentation, and making sure your environment is healthy. Your vCIO focuses on the business side: budget, roadmap, and priorities. The TAM’s findings feed directly into the vCIO’s plan.
How often will we meet?
You’ll get a short monthly update, a quarterly onsite TAM visit, and a quarterly business review with your vCIO. You can reach us anytime between those.
Is this an extra cost?
No. Technology alignment is included in every partnership. It’s the part that makes us a partner instead of a help desk.
Is the TAM visit the same as onsite support?
No. TAM visits are for planning and reviews. Day-to-day issues still go to the help desk, so planning time stays focused on the big picture.
One Partner. One Plan. One Agreement.
This isn’t a separate contract. It’s one part of the InfoTech Partnership Agreement, which brings support, security, backups, networking, Microsoft 365, and planning together under one team and one monthly agreement.
